Handmade ceramic pendant in the shape of a bone
flywheel of the 10th-12th century, hand-painted.
The "sfondylion" or "sfondyli" is cylindrical and relatively
heavy object that is inserted into the base by the spindle.
Together with the spindle, the stick, the rocket and the basket, they constitute
tools of weaving.
