This website https://www.historical-museum.gr ("Site") belongs to the Society for Cretan Historical Studies - Historical Museum of Crete and its use is subject to the following terms:
1. Except for the expressly mentioned exceptions (copyrights of third parties, collaborators and entities), all content ("Content") of the "Site", including texts, images, drawings, videos, graphics, software applications, services provided and in general all files and data of the website, constitutes the intellectual property of the "Museum" and is protected in accordance with the relevant provisions of Greek law, and in particular Law 2121/1993 ("Intellectual property, related rights and cultural matters"), European law and relevant international conventions.
2. The “Museum” encourages private use of the “Site” and the “Content” for personal information, as well as use for educational or research purposes. Use within the framework of a business or a service or an organization does not constitute private use. For educational or research purposes only, the reproduction or storage of individual pages or data is permitted, provided that their origin is indicated from the “Site” (http://www.historical-museum.gr/) and the names of the authors (if they appear on the “Site”) are mentioned, without in any way affecting the relevant intellectual and industrial property rights. The personal data provided by the user for registration in the "Site" Store, for participation in seminars or for registration as a Member, are included in the archives of the "Museum", are used exclusively for the best service and information and are in no way reproduced or made available to third parties. If the user does not wish his data to be archived, he must inform us in writing within 10 days. In any case, he reserves the right at any time to exercise the rights of access and objection provided by articles 12 and 13 of Law 2472/1997.
